Premier Matteo Renzi announced on Wednesday that Italy will host the 2017 G7 summit in Sicily. “I write to you while I fly to Japan for the (2016) G7,” Renzi said in his e-news. “The Japanese presidency has put many issues on the agenda, as it waits to pass the baton to Italy, which will organise the 2017 event in Sicily”
